The 9th Flat doesn’t whisper. A teal velvet sofa faces a pair of plum chairs across a gold-rimmed glass coffee table, while a starburst chandelier presides over the whole scene like it’s been there since the building was built. A wall of white bookshelves — filled with objects that have clearly been gathered, not purchased — anchors the room against a deep peacock blue accent wall, complete with a white antelope mount that somehow makes perfect sense.
These Walls Tell Different Stories
The bedrooms are equally considered. One disappears into a dramatic black-and-white woodland wallpaper — trees, deer, birds — under a dark ceiling that makes the gold chandelier glow all the warmer. The other wraps you in a rich terracotta floral, softer and more intimate, with a crystal pendant overhead. Together they’re proof that two very different rooms can belong to the same story.
